This Privacy Policy explains how Akshay Kotish & Co. (“we”, “us”, “our”)
collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Math March mobile
game (the “App”, package com.akshaykotish.mathmarch, available on Google Play and the
Apple App Store) and the related website at
mathmarch.akshaykotish.com (the “Website”).
By using the App or Website, you agree to this policy.
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Usage & analytics data | Game events (e.g. run started/ended, items bought, screens viewed), session length, high scores, device model, operating system and version, language, coarse region derived from IP address, and a pseudonymous app‑instance identifier. | Collected automatically via Firebase / Google Analytics. |
| Advertising data | Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA where permitted), and ad interaction and delivery data used to serve and measure ads. | Collected by Google AdMob when ads are shown. |
| Purchase data | Records of in‑app purchases and the Ad‑Free subscription (product purchased, transaction status). Payment card details are handled by Google Play / the App Store — we never receive or store your card or bank details. | Google Play Billing / Apple In‑App Purchase. |
| Reward redemption data | A phone number you enter on the Website to claim or redeem a reward code, and the code(s) issued to you. | Provided by you on the Website; stored in Google Firestore. |
The App itself has no login and does not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos, or precise GPS location.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the game, and only for the purposes above:
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or our company.
Rewarded ads in Math March are opt‑in — you choose to watch them. You can limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising). Purchasing the Ad‑Free subscription removes ads within the App.
Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration (up to 14 months for event‑level data). Reward‑redemption records (phone number and codes) are kept only as long as needed to operate the rewards program and to meet legal or accounting requirements, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request — including deletion of a phone number you submitted for rewards — email us at connect@akshaykotish.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also manage analytics/ads collection through your device settings as described above.
Math March is a general‑audience game and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at connect@akshaykotish.com and we will delete it.
We use industry‑standard measures (including Google Cloud/Firebase security and encryption in transit) to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our service providers (such as Google) may process and store data on servers located in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for such transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, through an in‑app or on‑Website notice.
